Green Haired Villians: An Unrepresented Market

Nevermind the bollocks - err, I mean title. I was discussing green-haired terrorists with a friend of mine, HAYDEN PETERS *swoon*. But seriously, check that shit out friends; he's was on the freakin' collectors for Science's sake!

And now back to me :P

Yay! Photos from my shoot with Rodney Shrimpton! I'm not getting overzealous with the hyperbole when I say the anticipation for seeing these photos was EATING ME ALIVE. Although The Shrimptons are good friends of mine, and I regularly stalk Rod's work, I've never actually had my own shoot. I accompanied my good friend Grace on hers a year or so ago (I posted some pics a few posts back), however that was just as moral support and for a bit of interaction for the main model. So you can imagine my excitement at the prospect of this shoot :D

Anyway, enough of the chatter and onto the pictures!

\

And Rod let me have a few photos with his beautiful 1D Mk4, as I mentioned when I posted a teaser. *drools* Isn't it puuurdy?

Kandi Kids!

Eeep I'm so excited for Utopia Rave! In case you didn't read my other blog post about it, I shall be attending my first ever rave tomorrow and I'm dreadfully excited! My chum, Todd and I are heading down on a bus to Sydney tomorrow morning (bright and early, 6am ergh) and chillin' out till 9pm when the rave begins!

A little while ago we had a kandi making evening in anticipation of the rave with pizza, vodka and crappy movies. T'was fun! I apologise for the use of inbuilt flash, the batteries in my external one died.

Here you can see my Piggy D shirt<3

Cupid Can Kiss My Arse

So, last night I did something naughty and bought some shoes, even though I really can't afford them and I need to be saving for Utopia this weekend, and Melbourne/ Sydney Mardi Gras in a few weeks. Oh yes, I forgot to mention, I stuffed up my booking for my hotel for my Melbourne trip and as the hotel had a no refund/ no changes policy, I lost 360 bucks. Joy, right? *mutters* So now I'm just down for the one night, as I can't afford any more and then I'm back in Sydney for my first ever Mardi Gras! Gonna be a hectic weekend, but good I hope! I'm not sure if this is a universally known fact, but Mardi Gras here is a big event for gays and lesbians to celebrate without any of the nonsense that they normally have to deal with. I'm not gay myself, but I'm going to show my support for those I'm attending it with who are of that persuasion. Plus, it's just a grand excuse to party really really hard!

...

...I like to party

:P

Anyway, I'll shoot you guys a link and pic of these shoes I bought myself, seeing as I had no nice aristocrat gentleman to spoil me :P *cough* hint *cough* I got them from Sinister Soles.

I've wanted these for ages but I couldn't find a site that wasn't pre-order and also I was poor and...not insane with the spending. Oh well, they beautiful :P Found here.

For some reason I really liked these, they're not what I would normally wear but they're hot! I just guessed my sizes, bloody hell I hope they fit! Found here.

Oh and I s'pose I'll post a few pics from my good friend Rosemary's Circus themed 21st party. I know I didn't look all that exciting, I was a little exhausted from the photo shoot earlier in the day. However the other costumes there were fabulous. How good does Emily (The rainbow clown) look?!

Myself and Caitlin

Emily and myself and a moth (on my hat :P)

Myself, Emily, Michael and Caitlin

Me...dancing :P

Cameron, Vinnie and me

Again myself, Emily, Michael and Cailtin

I wore my new Top Hat from Edward's in Coffs Harbour, my usual cravat with a lace surrounded cameo from Madame Pompadour in Melbourne, a collar from In Visible Light and my Lip Service green and black striped pants. There's no photos of the corset I was wearing earlier in the night. It was just my steampunk Gallery Serpentine one with the gold stripes.

Anyway, hope y'all had good Valentine's Days yesterday even though I kind'a do think it's a crock o' shit :P It might be just because I'm jealous...or it might not be :P

Over and out,

What's Old is New Again

Hello readers!

Yesterday I was quite the busy little bee, spending all afternoon with Rodney and Susan Shrimpton, some friends of mine here in Aus hanging out having a cup of tea (or two) and taking some pictures. The main reason I visited other than to catch up with them both (as they are both quite awesome!) was to grab some more pics from my birthday party back in August of last year. However, me being a wee bit silly, forgot to get those; however I did come away with an old shoot Rodney did with my good friend Gracie, who those who regularly read my blog have heard of before I'm sure. I came along for like...Moral support or something :P

All of the above pictures were taken by Rodney Shrimpton

Hope you enjoyed those old pics of me, they were taken back in December of 2009.

Anyway, this shoot I had with the Shrimptons yesterday was quite fun, and as soon as they're ready I shall post them here for your viewing pleasure (?) :P Also keep a look out for some pics from my good friend Rosemary's 21st birthday from last night.

Over and out all!

We Will Be Victorious

Howdy my lovely readers, I hope you're all well! I'm back at work after my trip to Canberra on the weekend, and I had a blast. I will post some photos once my friend's upload them, but till then you'll have to deal with me just doing this little in-between post.

So I recently ordered a Piggy D shirt and it arrived today! Naturally I wore it to work, and I absolutely love the colours. So bright and fun! I got it at his Black Victory store. I've seen some of Piggy's one of kind clothing creations before, and they're very good. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any pieces for sale currently. He also sold his own pants on ebay recently! If I'd had a spare $1000 I might have bought them myself :P

Oh and I s'pose I should mention that Piggy D is currently the bassist for Rob Zombie, and also has his own music under his name. He's played for a number of bands in the past like Wednesday 13 and Alice Cooper too I think. Also his wife, Gabrielle is an awesome photographer! I've been a fan of both of them for several years and I'm lucky enough to be seeing Rob Zombie live in early March, and therefore Piggy D too! Hoorah! I'm most excited and I'll endeavour to take lots of pictures of my 5 days in Melbourne.

Anyway, that's about all. Oh, and I've added a poll to the side of my blog, please vote so I know in what direction to send my blog :)

The Sinister Urge

So last night I popped over to my good friend Hanli's place because she kindly agreed to shave some patterns in my undercut a little while ago. Anyway, so I saw a post on her facebook about some passing thought of being a self-taught hair dresser, and so I asked if she'd bleach my ridiculously long regrowth and she agreed, hoorah!

So we spent the evening eating pizza, listening to Bowie, chatting about life and philosophy and doing my hair :D

Here are some piccies!

Thank you so much Hanli! And I apologise for the expos-ed-ness of my ear canal in the pics and the use of in-built flash :P

Oh and exciting news, my Louise Black corset FINALLY arrived! I was a little under whelmed at first, but now I've decided I'm quite in love with it.

I'm hoping to get a chance to wear it this weekend when I travel to our Nation's capital, Canberra, or as we (ex) locals like to call it, The 'Berra. I was originally attending a goth club night there called Chrome, however some unfortunate venue issues have resulted in it being cancelled this month. So instead I'll be heading out on the town with a bunch of the local goths to take over another bar/club instead! Wooo safety in majoritively black-clad numbers!

I really like the lining, it's very pretty. Could probably turn it inside-out if you were so inclined. I'm not one for much white however.

I also found this delicious little thing the other day when I was considering trying out a bit more lolita...Then I realised IT'S WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Hem.

Gah, it's so pretty. I also like the black and red colours, but green would be a bit different and nice. Found here at Baby the Stars Shine Bright.

Anyhow, that's all for today

Nigh night all!
