Name: Sarah.
Goth alias: The Walrus, Ms Walrus, Walrus, Sary Walrus but more than not, just Sary.
Age: Seventeen.
Orientation: Heterosexual.
Relationship status: Has been taken for 2.5 years.
Where are you hailing from? The Walrus Room, NSW, Australia.

Song: President - IAMX.
Movie: Gypsy 83
Favourite author and book? At the moment The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice but also the Ophelia by Lisa Klein. Oh! And Slaughterboy by Odo Hirsch.
If you were only allowed to use one cosmetic for the rest of your life what would it be? My trusty baked eye shadow. It can be used wet as eyeliner and dry as a shadow.
List 3 things we’d find in your handbag/backpack if we opened it now:
Purple hair dye, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephany Meyer (Just to see what all the fuss is about), my thumb drive.
Are there any things you never leave the house without? My thumb drive and an extra pair of socks.
Favorite season? Autumn, the colourful fallen leaves are always beautiful.
In your opinion what colour looks best on you? Jewel tone blue.
What subgenre of goth do you think you fit into/ have you created your own? I consider myself a combination of Lolita, Baby-bat, Victorian with a love of Industrial/electronic music and a ache for punk and military.
Where would we find you on a Saturday evening? Either at home on the computer or with friends trying out video games.
Discovered any good goth-related websites lately and care to share them? Not really goth but I've been heavily drowning myself in Lolita. Unfortunately, I came out empty handed. I've also been loving an old friends tumbler lately, focused on punk. Oh and a ‘Nerds’ make up online store. The loose eye shadow comes in poke-balls!

Anything in particular you’re into at the mo’? Lolita and punk. More specifically Lolita skirts and deathhawks.

Like to share an interesting fact about yourself? I love to sing and am considered, by most, very good at it.
Favourite piece of clothing you own? My Demonia boots.
Favourite accessory? Cameos!
Any bodymods? I have a lip piercing and both my ears pierced. Hopefully I'll be getting my nose pierced soon.
Biggest pet peeve about the goth scene? Intimidation and lack of ability to be involved as an under-age teen.
If you had the chance to meet any one in human history who would it be? TOM FELTON.
Any parting comments? Goodbye?

Thank you Sary! I'm personally loving you blog at the moment, especially your outfit posts so keep up the good work! P.s. Deathhawks FTW <3
As always if you would like to participate in Interview With a Goth or know someone who might, leave a comment or drop me a line at sydneysomething@hotmail.com .
Please Note: I'd just like to let everyone know that the interviews take place on a 'first come, first serve' basis. I have a list that I add future participants to and contact people when their turn comes around. So never fear if I don't contact you for a while; I haven't forgotten you! :)
Cool Sary! Never saw you as the singing type, but I bet you're very good at it ^^
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with the under-aged thing too: I would love to see all of these favorite bands of mine live, but they usually take place in a bar, or are sponsored by a cheap beer company! Clubs can be the same way, too.
@GreenFairy: Did you get my interview? If you got at least two of them already, then I must sound really annoying. But just checking :-P
Oh, the CAPTCHA is "resty." What's a "resty"? xD
Great interview! YES to cameos!!! :-D I'd love to see you combine a Lolita skirt and a deathhawk. Seriously: it would be a brilliant juxtaposition, and one that I've never seen done before.
ReplyDelete@tenebris: yes I did but as I said before there's still people in front of you; well just kitty :p
ReplyDelete@sophisticatednoir: I wear my Lolita dresses with my death hawk all the time :p
Although I am no longer an underage teen, I agree that it is difficult to be part of the scene at that age.
